We have many displays which are suitable for children as well as adults and aim to make the museum interesting and relevant for all age groups. Why not bring the whole family.
There is so much to see and enjoy here which I hadn’t appreciated until we visited. The displays and exhibits are really interesting and we ended up staying far longer than we’d thought. The children really enjoyed the interactive games and quizzes and my father loved remembering some of the events and talking to the kids about them. A thoroughly enjoyable day I would definitely recommend.
I wanted to find out more about my Uncle who served in the Cheshires in the 1950s. The staff were incredibly helpful and we were able to find photos and records which really brought him and his experiences to life for a new generation of the family. Thank you!
The use of artefacts and sources to learn about the war and what life was like for people living then was very useful. Staff are very knowledgeable and were able to answer the children’s questions
